Instructions & Guidelines
The Organizaing Committee of the 4th Scientific Meeting of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Obesity and Sarcopenia Metabolism (APAOSM 2026) and the 2nd Scientific Meeting of the APAOSM Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Committee (APAOSM-MBS 2026) cordially invite the submission of abstracts for presentation.
We welcome submissions from clinicians, surgeons, dietitians, nutritionists, nurses, researchers, and allied health professionals across the fields of obesity, sarcopenia, metabolism, metabolic surgery, and related disciplines.
Submission Deadline: 30 April 2026

Eligibility
Abstracts must represent original work that has not been published previously. Presenters may submit more than one abstract in different scientific sessions (category). Presenters must be registered for the meeting.

Submission Method
All abstracts must be submitted online via the official abstract submission portal (click on the blue button "Submit Abstract Now"above).

Format Requirements

Word Limit: 300 words maximum (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).

File Format: Submit as a Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF file.

Review & Presentation Format
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind peer-review process by the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts may be selected for Oral Presentation or E-Poster Presentation. The decision of the committee is final.

Awards – Best Oral Presentation
The winner of the Best Oral Presentation will receive a complimentary registration for APAOSM 2027 and a certificate issued by the APASOM.
