2nd Scientific Meeting of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Obesity and Sarcopenia Metabolism (APAOSM 2024)

On July 11, 2024, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, The Second Scientific Meeting of the Asia Pacific Alliance for Obesity and Sarcopenia Metabolism (APAOSM 2024) was grandly held at the Macau University of Science and Technology.
The meeting was jointly organized by the Asia Pacific Alliance for Obesity and Sarcopenia Metabolism (APAOSM), the Macau University of Science and Technology, and the Macau Nutrition Society, with co-organization by Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University, the Weight Management Professional Committee of the China Nutrition and Health Food Association, and the Chongqing Health Promotion and Health Education Society.
On this special occasion, medical professionals, as well as experts and scholars from fields such as nutritional science, food science, related industries, higher education institutions, government departments, and news media from Mainland China, Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), and Taiwan (China), as well as Australia, Singapore, and other regions, attended the meeting. The meeting was conducted simultaneously online and offline, with free live streaming open to the Asia-Pacific region, attracting a total participation of over 58,000 individuals.
